I'm finally letting the secret out!
Filling a much needed gap in the bass fishing and boating world, the rugged TriplTek units will soon become the brain of your boating operations. I use this rugged TriplTek device as my "Central Command Center" for all of my bass boat equipment apps and equipment.
With a super bright 8" display, I can control my entire GoPro system, monitor real-time wind and weather, keep an eye battery and engine performance, view my Lowrance, Humminbird, and Navionics apps with integrated GPS as well as run Google Earth to get into those hard-to-find backwater areas. I even let football games stream live sometimes if I'm out fun-fishing on a game day.
I have put this unit to the test for over the past year in extreme heat, cold, vibration, rain, and wind and have never once experienced an overheating issue like I have with phones or home-use tablets. This is one RUGGED device!
At the end of the day, I can easily remove the device from its vehicle mount and bring it inside for some "couch" research before the next tournament day.
Mounted to my console via a 1" Ram mount, I can adjust position however I want to, on the fly. I utilize an inexpensive Mint Mobile plan and have not had any connectivity issues from south Florida all the way up to St. Lawrence river.

Vehicle Mount

I use the vehicle mount similar to the way I use other mounts for my graphs. Installed on my console with a 1" ball, I can adjust the unit on-the-fly to whatever viewing angle I want.
I use the included 12V to 9V converter to provide continuous hard-wired power to the unit but can quickly remove the unit from the mount with the turn of a knob, if needed.
The security key allows me to keep the unit from walking off while in parking lots or away from the boat.
